New to Sunscreen: My Eye-Friendly Fix for Golf
That afternoon my wife found me Googling "sunscreen that doesn't sting eyes for golf," and honestly, I'm glad she did. She pointed me toward CuraHeal Eye-Friendly Sunscreen, which she'd seen recommended in a few skincare groups. It's a Korean sunscreen — SPF50+ PA++++ — and I'll admit I was skeptical. I figured anything strong enough for a full day outdoors would still burn.
First round I used it, I applied it properly before we teed off, including close to the eyes the way the instructions suggested. I was genuinely braced for that familiar sting by the back nine. It never came. No eye stinging at all — not even when I was sweating on a warm afternoon walk between holes. I reapplied around the 10th hole and again, no eye stinging. That alone made it worth it for me.
Beyond that, I noticed it doesn't leave that thick white cast that made me avoid sunscreen in the first place. It blends in fast, feels lightweight, and doesn't make my face feel like it's suffocating. I'm not a skincare guy, but I do appreciate something that just works without me having to think about it.
Three months on, I use it every single round now. If you're a bloke who's been avoiding sunscreen for the same dumb reasons I was, start here.
